Pura Vida for Good is committed to supporting youth in recovery throughout Durango and the Four Corners region. Our mission is simple. Help young people break the cycle of substance abuse by giving them access to outdoor adventures, positive mentors, and a community that believes in them.

Every program we offer is designed to help young individuals (all ages) rediscover purpose, confidence, and joy at absolutely no cost.

Free, Fun, Substance-Free Experiences for Youth

Our outdoor excursions give young people a chance to step away from pressure and experience something real, healthy, and meaningful.

A Safe and Supportive Path Forward for Young Adults in Recovery

We are working with investors and donors to open the first Men’s Recovery Home in Durango. This home will offer youth and young adults a stable, substance-free environment to rebuild their lives.

At Animas Recovery House, our vision is to provide:

Safe and affordable sober housing
A supportive community with mentorship
Opportunities for personal and professional development
A holistic and evidence based approach to long term recovery
